"Everything will be okay in the end, if it's not okay, well it's not yet the end". That is my motto in my life.
I do believe that life offers a dream beyond our expectations and it's not reasonable to give up. Move on to the things that makes you weak and cry. Focus on the present that completes your smile. Every trials that was given to us is not the reason to give up. We just need to trust HIM with all of our hearts. Every day, new happenings will come and never ever get tired of living your life. Never quit on moving forward after the storm ruins your life because you never know how many people are looking up to you and see you as their inspiration. Your life matters and a SMILE counts be a BLESSING :).

Nothing to loose but anything to gain

Thanksgiving is a way of offering gratitude to the Almighty God no matter what our condition is. We all have our reasons to thank God for all of His loving kindness.I am so lucky that I'm one of those brethren who still have life that God given to me.Brethren from the Members Church of God International offers a 3 day Sacrifice of  International Thanksgiving to God. The brethren from almost all over the world united in this celebration.

 I am lucky that I belong in this brethren . I am thankful that with His help and mercy I can still continue doing my duty though I'm just a humble being. It is so hard to do things that you can't, but if God is upon you can make it. As long as God dwells in your heart, you don't have to worry about anything.Because God will provide and He will give it if you really need it.

My experience cannot be paid of any amount of money and no words can expressed the happiness that lies in me these days. I thank God that despite of all my weaknesses and failures He is always there to help me. 

I am so thankful to God, that I was able to finish the three days. I can say that I'm much more luckier than those who are rich in this world.Because of the understanding and learning that only in this brethren can be found. Though there are times that I’m sleepy still there’s a brethren who will look after me. This three days is too short but still I can say that, THANKS BE TO GOD for all of His unspeakable gift. New leanings from the man of God -Brother Eliseo Soriano and Brother Daniel Razon :).

Photowalk to Remember

Early morning of September 23, 2013, I am busy preparing myself and my things to be bring in my first photo walk ever. Night before I am thinking about this event if this will be a success for me or not. I'm a little bit nervous about the result of my shots. But after all those thinking I slept peacefully. I allotted almost two (2) hours in travelling to the meeting place. I'm nervous because I think that I'm already late. Luckily, when I arrived in our meeting place they are still waiting for the others to come and I'm one of those. Our meeting place is on Central Avenue Station, 7 eleven convenient store. We first take our first group shot with Photoville International Members, MCT-2A and Director Dominique Meily.

After we had our first group shot we heading out to our first destination. My group mates were Mark Viola, Vandol Bobadilla, Angela Hernandez and Bro. Froilan Calces. We walked along the underpass and take shots. Minutes passed we arrived on Intramuros, actually it is my first time to walked around in this place. Ay first I'm a little bit shy in taking photos but after some time I become comfortable. Director Doms lend me his DSLR camera.

Then we have our lunch in Bay leaf  restaurant. After we eat, we take some rest then continue exploring the world of street photography.

This day is really worth it and one of the most remarkable for me. I have experienced those moments that us my first time. It's an overwhelming experience to be with those enthusiast people. Thanks for sharing their time and knowledge. It is my first time but I'm looking forward for more experience to come. One day is not enough to learn new things but it will always be a learning process.I know that someday I will forget this but I know this is already printed in my heart.Thanks be to God.

Gandingan Awards UNTV radio

First of all, Thanks be to God for giving me opportunity to write on my blog again J.

What should I am going to write? Well, definitely no one knows what I am going to write. Okay, I’ll start writing about the Gandingan award that UNTV radio had won last time. But what is Gandinganfirst,Gandingan is a Philippine set of four large, hanging gongs used by the Maguindanao as part of their kulintang ensemble.

Gandingan is the first broadcast based award giving body in the entire UP system that recognizes outstanding broadcasters and programs. They also challenge stations to produce quality content of their programs. The Gandingan also gave recognition to excellence in the four guiding principle of development communication namely empowerment, entrepreneurship, environmentalism, and equity. And maybe you are thinking, what is the relevance of this. Well we can connect this in development communication. First let’s define what dev.com means it is the strategic use of communication in the developing world. And I can relate development communication to Gandingan award that was given to UNTV radio. The UNTV radio awarded as the most development Radio plug and they deserves to be. Why do I say so? Because almost all of the radio programs that is being aired on UNTV radio can help the listeners to do good to others. Just like the station blood letting plug which was awarded as the BEST DEVELOPMENT ORIENTED RADIO PLUG that encourages people to donate blood. They informed about what will be the good effects of donating blood in our health. Another example of the program is the Student hour that allows the youth to participate during the discussion about certain issues like educational issues, national issues, and personality development.

With this it can help the listeners to decide and take part of the decision whether they going to participate in the said event or not. With God’s help and mercy many of the listeners participate in this kind of advertisement.

I am looking forward for the next Gandingan J. To God be the Glory!

Strive More

Nowadays, sending a child in college and State Universities are so expensive. Sometimes it may result to not sending them in school because of financial problem. And this is one of the problems of the youth today.

As a simple student, mostly many of us wishing and hoping that someday we wanted to be a scholar. The reason why we wanted to be may differ the way we look to the importance of it. If you’re a scholar it would cause great happiness because our parents and relatives might be proud of us. It can also help our family to lessen the burden most especially if you belong to poor family.   

Thus, as a scholar you have the responsibility to study well and give your best in everything you do. I will give you a glimpse about me.

Living in a poor household made me realize that education is very important to me. I believed that education is the only wealth that no one can steal to me. Studying on a higher education and being a scholar is one of my aspirations in my life. And I am truly honored to be a recipient of being a scholar in La Verdad Christian College Caloocan, and extremely grateful for the opportunities they provide me. As a scholar in LVCC, I am so thankful to God that I have this once in a blue moon chance and opportunity to be in LVCC.

With this scholarship, I am one step closer to achieving my career goals.  Free uniforms, free breakfast and meals, free library cards, no tuition and miscellaneous to be paid, air conditioned and well ventilated rooms, cool and lively instructors what more can you ask for?. All the things that you need in order to finish studying college already given by this school. It’s just that you need to study hard and strive more in your studies. I know that many challenges will come along my way. I’m hoping and praying that I can be able to finish my studies with His help and mercy. One thing I learned is that treasure the things that you have now, because you willa know the importance of it, if it is gone.I am thanking God above all and most especially Brother Eliseo Soriano and Brother Daniel Razon and with God’s help I will continue working hard and in the future hope to give something back to others as you have given to me now.

Utak umano sa P10B anomaly na si Janet Lim-Napoles sumuko mismo kay Pangulong Benigno Aquino III ngunit marami ang nagduda sa kanyanga pagsuko.

Nagtago si Napoles matapos magpalabas ng warrant of arrest ang korte sa Makati kaugnay sa kinakaharap na kasong serious illegal detention laban sa kanya ng dating tauhan na si Benhur Luy.

Pinili umano ni Napoles na kay Aquino mismong sumuko dahil ito lang ang kanyang pinagkakatiwalaan. May banta rin umano sa buhay nito, na beniberipika pa ng mga awtoridad.

Matapos lumabas ang mga ulat at makumpirma ng media ana sumuko na si Napoles ay mabilis itong pinag-usapan sa mga social networking sites.

Iba-iba ang mga naging opinyon ng mga tao hinggil dito. May mga natuwa nadahil uusad na ang imbestigasyon tungkol sa umano'y pagwaldas sa pondo ng bayan, at mayroon ding nagduda kung bakit mismong sa pangulo sumuko si Napoles.

 Congress-LGU waagi laban sa DOJ

Mainit na laban sa hardcourt ang muling ginanap sa pagitan ng mga koponan sa ahensiya ng gobyerno sa Pasig City Sports Complex, Setyembre 1.

Sumalang sa unang laro ang Congress-LGU laban sa DOJ na sinundan ng koponang MMDA laban sa AFP at huling sumalang naman anga PNP laban sa Judiciary.

Nilampaso ng koponang Congress-LGU ang DOJ  sa puntos na 98-65. Winakasan nito ang tatlong sunod na pagkatalo ng kanilang koponan.

Why Am I Here In La Verdad Christian College

Education is the only wealth that no one can get from you. Everything  happens for a reason and I know that His reason why I am here in La Verdad Christian College is for my good. “Thanks be to God” are the words that I uttered after I received the good news that I have passed here in La Verdad Christian College. And that I will study here is a pleasure of mine. I know that I’m not worthy to be here but with God’s help and mercy I am here. I am one of the lucky students who received different incentives from my school. This school is very different from other school. And I would proud to say that I am studying here because this school is being guided by Almighty God. And also I am here because this school is made for the indigent students who wants to study but can’t afford to study. And I am so lucky that I belong here. I am here because I have a mission. Maybe now I am not conscious or aware of that but I know after some time I will realize it. Thanks be to GOD J.

C. L. Month

Christian Dance

Last January, we celebrated our Christian Living Month. I really enjoyed this, because many unexpected things happened to us most especially to my section MCT-13. We really felt the presence and mercy of God Almighty. I am so thankful to God, for all His unspeakable gift. It’s so amazing and unexpected that our section will be the over-all champion. There are many categories like Bible Preaching, Christian dance, Choral competition, Solo singing contest, and Photo contest.  Thanks be to God that we have entries to the different categories and with God’s help we won. And this competition also inspires me that always keep your faith with God, because with God’s help He can give to you the best you just need to keep your faith in your heart. And always pray in silence where you and God are the only one who can listen to you so that the bad spirits won’t block you from what you want. In this competition also, I felt the presence of my classmates, because before we are not close or in-tack. But after that we are all happy that mostly all of us are in-tack now. I am just hoping that the friendship or closeness that surrounds to us will stay. Thanks be to God. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! J

Art Month

This month of February isn’t just only about love month. It is also the month of art. The moment I saw this painting it really captured my attention. This painting is colorful and I really like looking to this painting.  Whenever I have time to look at this picture, I feel calm and comfortable while looking at this. I don’t know why but that is my feeling. I remembered my childhood days where I first heard the legend about the pineapple, because this painting has a lot of eyes. I remembered this legend when the mother wished that her daughter would have many eyes so that she can be able to see the things that her mother told to her. I wish I could see more paintings like this.

DEAR KUYA 

One of Dear Kuya’s radio episode I have listened to when I was with my classmates is Carlo’s story. The boy who’s grandfather is his father as well. At first, we thought that the anger of his mother was because of her parents being the hindrance of her dirty life but when we finished listening to the story, we’re really shocked to realize that it’s not because of that.

The fact that most of the father abuse their daughters, the story of Carlo’s life is common nowadays, especially to those places full of people who doesn’t know how to spend their lives, non-educated and unemployed.

For me, the grandfather’s intention of doing such thing is such unGodly and insane! Ruinning his daughter and his son/grandson’s child cause too much pain in their lives. I can say that probably, the moment he did that is when he’s drunk and that’s a perfect proof that being drunken causes too much inqities a man can do towards other people. What kind of father was lolo Alfredo??

I think the reason why he can’t tell this to Carlo is because he regrets the thing he did, but this can’t change his relationship with his daughter. The pain Carlo’s mother got from his father was really unforgettable.

I remembered what our NSTP instructor told us, that there are about two kinds of problems: the “controlled” and “uncontrolled”. This type of problem can be considered both. The moment when the father’s libido attacked towards her daughter is an “uncontrolled” problem, because that time, he is drunk. But the fact that it’s already done can be considered “controlled” because, as a daughter if you really love your father, you can forgive him. But I can understand Carlo’s mom.

The respect that Lolo Alfredo suppose to give to his daughter is gone because of what he did. That was probably the main reason why Carlo’s mom can’t forgive and forget what happened.

I think Dear Kuya is a radio station drama that is really interesting to listen to, because its not just entertainment that we can get from the program but the wisdom as well. It’s really catchy and persuasive, and in that way, I believe many people can be a part of the fall!

My Interview Article J

Life means the period of time during which they are alive. Life also may refer to the events and experiences that happen to people while they are alive. This is about my interview article and let’s take a view on his life.

            To be patient, to get ready in life circumstances, and have faith in God are the most important lesson he learned in his life. Keeping his faith to God is the most important thing that he is holding right now, because he told me that in times at happiness and sadness there is always God in his back. I also asked him about who was the most important person in his life?. He answered that his mother is the most important person in his life. Most of the time his mother is the one who is with him. His mother is also a supportive mother for him. They treated each other as best friend.  He told me that his mother has been then been the biggest influence in his life. His mother influences him the way he speak, his attitude and everything about him. His mother is always with him in happiness and in pain. And his mother also taught him how to be strong.

            Life has it’s ups and downs. He also experienced it. When I interviewed him and asked him about what was the happiest moment of his life. He said that it is when he discovered that he has a talent in writing, because he didn’t expect that he has the ability to write. And the most devastated part of his life is when he didn’t passed to his dream school for college. Because he already set his dreams and goals to that school. But he didn’t passed it. During that time all of his classmates are happy because, they can already see their future but he is hanging on air and no one is there to listen to his drama. So, for him that’s the biggest blow in his life.

            I also asked him if he have any regrets in his life. He said that he have no regrets because he do believed that everything that happened and ill happen to him is for a reason. He also said that life is an adventure full of ups and downs. I do asked him if how would he like to be remembered?. His answer is “ As a simple person that is waiting for someone to talk and share things in life. The word of wisdom that he liked to passed to me is that “ Just be strong in life, be yourself, don’t pretend to be someone. Because it’s you, not anybody else. And always pray to God.”

            Lastly I asked him about what he think his life would be like when he is older.  He said that “ I’m just an ordinary elder sitting on a chair looking on a streets reminiscing or remembering my life in the past”. But who he is? He is the only child of Mr. and Ms. Malig-on. He is Levi S. Malig-on. A simple and a kind student of La Verdad Christian College.
